Stage 3 Berry Camp
After arriving at Berry we were allocated our rooms and were split into two groups, Echidnas and Bandicoots. We participated in many fun activities such as Dark Maze and Bouldering as well as Archery, which took many of us some time to master.
When we went to the cookout we had to make fire and cook damper. Yum! While collecting a bucket of water to douse the fire, one of our group went for an unplanned swim, lucky it was a warm day!
Next was Vertical Challenges which took many of us out of our comfort zones.
Now we come to water activities. When we participated in Raft Building the girls triumphed and made it across the river! During Canoeing Mrs Eshman lost her perfect record when one of the canoes capsized.
One of the most memorable activities was Cable Glide, what a ride! The Berry County Fair was a highlight with us all working in groups to run a stall.
Our final day was a 6km walk up Moeyan Hill, the view was amazing.
All in all it was a great week that will be a highlight of our year.
